Cynthia Palka is a Senior Associate of The Chalfont Project Ltd.
Cynthia earned a BS degree in Chemistry from Canisius College and an MS degree in Chemistry from Princeton University. She completed the course work for a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry as an AFPE Fellow at SUNY Buffalo. Her technical expertise includes bench experience in pharmaceutical drug discovery and development. She is a Regulatory Affairs Certified professional for pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device products.
Cynthia has received formal training in executive coaching, facilitation, leadership transitions, and conflict management. She has worked for many years as a recruitment executive and as coach and leadership consultant to both the public and private sectors on issues surrounding change and performance. Her consulting experience ranges from start-up companies to global corporations.
Cynthia is a Certified Empowerment Coach through IPEC Coaching and a trained consultant of the Genos Emotional Intelligence (EI) Assessment and the Platinum Rule -Behavioural Style Assessment.
Cynthia is a member of several organisations including the International Coach Federation, the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association, the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society, the Drug Information Association, the American Chemical Society, and the American Medical Writers Association. She is a columnist for PharmaChem magazine on Leading Change, a member of the Ask the Expert panel for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing magazine, and a contributing author to the RAPS Focus magazine.
Cynthia is a frequent keynote speaker and workshop presenter to a variety of audiences on topics relating to leadership, transition management, team building, emotional intelligence, career development, and work/life balance.
