Viral ChangeTM is the alternative to slow, painful and unsuccessful management
of change in organisations.
The traditional model of change is linear: big change needs a big set of
initiatives cascaded down via big communication programmes. In Viral ChangeTM,
a small set of behaviours spread by a small number of people through their
social networks of influence within the firm creates massive behavioural tipping points.
These are translated
into new routines and 'cultures' -new ideas established, new ways of working,
new process adoption, new culture, etc.
We lead or facilitate Viral ChangeTM in organisations to shape a new culture, to
create new ways of working, to adopt new technology, to foster innovation, to create
alignment after M&A or any other situation where new behaviours are the key to success.
If you would like to learn more or dig deeper into Viral ChangeTM,
we offer many resources on this website that will help you do this:

As a consultancy we specialise in the application of Behavioural
Sciences to the management and leadership of organisations.
There is no change unless the change is behavioural: process or structural
change are not enough. We facilitate and enable organisations to create
behavioural change, to reinterpret the true role of behaviours in their
value system, in their performance management or in an incentive programme;
to 'think behaviours' instead of vague approaches such as change of 'attitude'
and 'mindset'; to translate leadership into behavioural leadership; to uncover
the true behavioural fabric of the organisation, assessing what behaviours are
present or absent and where to focus on; to insert the behavioural approach in
day-to-day management.

We approach leadership from the angles of in-depth reflection, introspection and personal discovery,
whether working with individuals or teams.
Through our Seven Faces model, we work with individuals or groups
(management teams, leadership teams, etc.) to uncover all the faces of the leader:
language and meaning; journeys and destinations; the building of space,
time and legacy; values; drivers of what we do; responsibility and
identity; and, above all, behaviours. Our individual and group
leadership development require reflection time, protected time and
willingness to go beyond the traditional fix of standard country-house-sessions.
No, we don't climb mountains, play outdoors 'doing team building' or build bridges. Sorry!
If you need or want a different approach to leadership, please contact us.

Collaboration, not competition, is the competitive advantage in the 21st century organisation.
Collaboration is a behaviour, not something that follows as a result of using 'collaborative software'.
Collaboration needs to be learned and fostered.
We are architects of those collaborative spaces; not only of the traditional forms such
as teams, but also of today’s more useful, powerful and creative networks of relationships,
many of them rather invisible. We facilitate the existence, the growing and nurturing of those
networks of connections between individuals, as they are the source from which innovation flows.
Today's modern concepts of Web 2.0 and Enterprise 2.0 refer to the use of tools such as social
networking within the firm or for the firm. We are very lucky to have those technologies,
but these technologies will not create collaboration per se unless collaboration already
exists within the firm.

If you want a 'culture of innovation', create and reinforce behaviours that are a
conduit to innovation. Many people think of innovation as a grandiose project with a
grandiose outcome: a major breakthrough, a brand-new Apple gadget, a cure for cancer...
But innovation is something that can be fostered in everyday life.
Our innovation interventions are behavioural. We help leaders and organisations
to create the conditions for inquiry and discovery. A small set of behaviours embedded
in the organisation has the power to create a culture of innovation. Also, most innovation
is generated in informal networks of relationships and connections. Our expertise in social
network management inside the firm supports our engagements on innovation.
There are resources in this site on this topic. Some of them are:

There is never a perfect organisational structure. The way people are organised must
be contingent to the objectives of the organisation.
No particular organisational structure correlates with success. Re-structuring
and redesigning organisations
must not be an off-the-shelf exercise, a back-of-the-envelope reshuffling of an
organisation chart or the copying of what others have done, even if successful. It
should be a rational process of finding the preferred way of doing, organising
and implementing change, embracing decision makers and key players.
We have unique methodologies to create and evaluate multiple structural options
open to a particular company or division at any given time of its life cycle.
We can also facilitate the implementation of the required change.
You can explore the unique way in which we approach organisational design more in depth here.
